The Teddies room caters for our older babies and provides a stimulating environment designed to encourage children to take more of a lead in their learning through a planned Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, as they participate in arts and crafts, music, reading, roles play and begin to develop a sense of self and own likes and interests. The flexible space is divided into two separate areas and allows for multiple activities to take place simultaneously. The Teddies share the outdoor play area with the toddlers and pre-schoolers which allow for interaction to form with other peer groups. The Teddies room can comfortably care for 12 children staffed by a team of 4 practitioners geared to caring for younger children with a ratio of 3:1.
